J-802 Austro Hungarian Silhouette Dress Clip

 

The setting is four silver tone textured leaves wrapped around a white porcelain oval. The leaves have multi colored chatons 3, 4 and 5 mm on the inside and outer edges. The white oval has what appears to be hand painted images of an Austro Hungarian couple standing in a field with flowers. The paint is intact with loss only on one of his hands. The oval is prong set measuring 1 x 1-1/2 tall. The clip measures 2-1/8 x 2-1/4 tall and has the patent number 1765131 dating it to 1930. There is another mark opposite the patent number (like a logo) but it is not clear. The clip could be tightened a bit, otherwise this is an excellent old vintage clip.
