J-Dsb023 Mazer Attributed Red Flower Brooch

This fabulous brooch circa early 1940 has a vermeil setting adorned with Austrian crystals and deep ruby red glass navettes. The composition is exquisite and although unsigned, looks to be an early Mazer piece. It has been sold on other sites as an unsigned Staret but I cannot find any documentation of the similarities. The design and type of flower is very common to the early 1940 period. The flower head measures 1-1/4 inches wide . There are two leaves with pave set 2 and 3 mm stones tied with a ribbon. The sterling vermeil setting has some wear typical with the age of this piece. This beautiful brooch measures 2 inches wide x 2-7/8 tall and is missing one very tiny stone at the bottom of the stem.
