This is one of the largest Elzac pins I have seen. She is really big measuring 3 x 4 inches tall. She has a braided gold color cord surrounding her head, maybe some type of head wear. The ceramic face has bright yellow earrings and a silver tone setting. The brooch was made Feb. 23, 1943; there was no patent number assigned for the ceramic face. This style of brooch has been referred to as "Victims of Fashions" but there is no documentation to support this.
