B-2908  Panetta Signed Green Glass, Sterling Cocktail Ring

 

Panetta rings were made to imitate precious stone jewelry and this is a gorgeous example of their workmanship. They manufactured high quality costume jewelry and Panetta is a respected mark in the industry.The construction was superior and Panetta items are somewhat rare because they are seldom parted with. These pieces were manufactured in limited numbers and almost always commanded higher prices. This ring has a sterling silver (marked) filigree setting and is Panetta signed on the inside of the band. The band has a nice patina with a large prong set green marbled glass oval cabochon. The stone is aprox 1/2 x 3/4 inches tall with no chips or cracks. It is a size 6, is not adjustable and is in wonderful vintage condition.
