J-1891 Sturdy Co Amethyst Pearl Lavaliere Necklace

This is a lovely lavaliere necklace c.1920 by the Sturdy Company. Sturdy Co was established c.1855 in Attleboro, MA and specialized in chains and bracelets. The setting is for this necklace is 12K gold over sterling silver is hallmarked on the clasp Sturdy, 1/20 12K GF on Silver.  The necklace chain measures 19 inches long with a pinch closure. The pendant has a diamond shaped, bezel set faceted glass dark amethyst in a decorative open work setting. The base of the pendant has a dangling glass baroque pearl in a milky white color. The pendant measures 3/4 x 1-7/8 inches long. The necklace is in wonderful condition, kind vintage wear as may be expected with age. Pictures are a little darker and the pendant is much prettier in person.
