A highly collectible and well known Reja design, this is a c.1940 unsigned, unmarked sterling brooch. The Reja name is normally found next to the sterling mark, this one just has no hallmarks. The pheasant has a green red rhinestone eye, a collar of diamante rhinestones and a large teardrop green glass body. This brooch measures1-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches long and is in beautiful vintage condition, the patina has not been disturbed (has not been polished). All stones are present and he is quite handsome.
