J-2562 Camphor Glass Amethyst Pendant Necklace by Marathon

This lovely necklace has a delicate, unmarked sterling silver paper clip style chain measuring 15 inches long. There is a jump ring marked Sub-Deb, a mark used by the Marathon jewelry company. The amethyst camphor glass pendant has a paste crystal in the center of a diamond shape setting. The pendant has an openwork scalloped edge, engraved silver setting. The edge of the prong set glass stone is dark amethyst engraved with a segmented box surrounding the light amethyst camphor glass. There are no visible chips or cracks. The pendant measures 5/8 x 5/8 and is a beautiful c. 1920's necklace.
