J-2963 Carnelian Carved Glass Peacock Brooch

The setting is for this c.1900 brooch gold wash over brass filigree with vining flowers and leaves. The single carved carnelian glass stone has a peacock standing in the middle of a field of flowers. It is a very dimensional piece and in amazing condition for it's age.There are no chips or cracks to the stone, the setting is very nice for it's age. It has an old C closure and measures 1-1/2 x 1-7/8 wide with the pin stem extending just slightly beyond the setting.
