Juliana D & E made this wonderful rare ribbon jewelry brooch often seen in pink and black. The  blue version of the brooch. The domed brooch features two dancing maidens in the center of the cameo. The cameo is encircled by sapphire blue chatons and on a velvet ribbon woven in gold tone metal heart filigree and studded with clear chatons. There is a piece pictured in pink on page 71 of Katerina Musetti book The Art of Juliana Jewelry. I have had a necklace and earrings in black with the original hang tags. you can see this in the Juliana Archives here. The brooch measures about 2-3/4 inch long and 2 inches wide. The condition is very good. there is the original old glue on the ribbon’s back.
