Collecting Miriam Haskell Group

The Miriam Haskell Jewelry group has been designed for collectors and dealers to help assist in the verification of the genuine works of Miriam Haskell and to acquaint us with the talented designers. The main goal of our group is to build archives and a database of information on the beautiful jewelry manufactured by the Miriam Haskell company.
Due to the increasing popularity of vintage jewelry, there are some who mistakenly attach the term Miriam Haskell style, or Haskell style to any piece that has faux pearls and filigree setting with the objective of getting a higher resale price. and this is in part due to the increasing interest and value of Miriam Haskell jewelry.
This was not a style exclusive to Miriam Haskell. Other manufacturers and designers copied her style of jewelry and signed their pieces. This type of jewelry reflected the fashion trends and styles for the era.
We encourage you to purchase the book Miriam Haskell Jewelry by Cathy Gordon and Shelia Pamfiloff to educate yourself on what genuine Miriam Haskell jewelry looks like and how it was constructed.  The book can be purchased at Amazon books here is a link to show the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry". This book will prove invaluable in your quest to learn all you can about Miriam Haskell jewelry.
Educating yourself and examining pieces of jewelry that are confirmed or verified as Miriam Haskell will provide you with a good starting point.
